What makes a good funeral director? Is it affordability, compassion, services, experience – or all of these things? The answer is yes, it is a combination of all these things, but above all, a good funeral director ensures your loved one is treated with utmost dignity regardless of the chosen service or budget.
We all need dignity when we pass, and a family’s loved one deserves nothing less. When it comes time to farewelling that special person, the circumstances and budget should never decide the level of dignity afforded to the deceased. Every life is unique and extra special to those close to them.
Funerals are essential to human culture; they honour and celebrate a person’s life. It is vital to ensure a dignified farewell. How the body is treated, how the service is conducted and providing a memorable experience for the mourners for all the right reasons all contribute to a dignified service.
Providing dignity and exceptional service to all denominations
Professional and experienced funeral directors assist families in honouring their loved ones and provide comfort during a traumatic time.
Losing a loved one, whether expected or sudden, is painful, and the family must feel supported and cared for throughout the funeral planning process.
Family belief structures and financial circumstances are different, and good funeral directors are experienced in various religious denominational funerals and cater to multiple budgets without compromising standards.
They have the expertise to assist with repatriation, either into or out of the country, and offer various services, from traditional, cultural and non-religious, including cremation and burials.
Good funeral directors can orchestrate a funeral service that includes all the trimmings such as flowers, printed material and other special requests.
